Steamed chicken with salted fish is super easy dish to prepare. I love anything with salted fish. Oh my goodness, I swear that anything with salted fish is like heavenly. If you have never tried it before, you should and i hope you will feel the same way as me 🙂
We didn’t add water to the chicken at all but as you can see, the dish has naturally developed a soupy gravy as as a result of steaming. This gravy goes with rice. Try making this at home 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

1 whole chicken (around 800g) or any chicken parts of your preference
1 tablespoon of light soya sauce
2 tablespoons of oyster sauce
1 tablespoon of Shaoxing Wine or Chinese cooking wine
1 teaspoon of sesame seed oil
2 pieces of salted fish soaked in oil
2 teaspoons of tapioca flour or cornflour
1 thumb size ginger – cut into fine julienne
a few dashes of white pepper
