Chicken pakoras/pakodas are deep fried fritters stuffed with the magicla flavours of India. The batter is simply a dough made from small chicken pieces and vegetables mixed with chick pea flour, rice flour and some Indian spices.Literally, I had not expected these chicken pakoras to turn out so perfect in the very first trial. So trust me “it is just super easy”. Just follow this recipe and trust me your pakoras/pakodas shall come out perfect in the first attempt. This is a snack/appetizer perfect for parties.
1)Some recipes go for boiling the chicken prior making the dough. But
this is not necessary. The tiny chicken pieces cook faster than the
veggies in the hot oil. Boiling might overcook the chicken pieces
making them hard and dry rather than juicy and soft.
2)Some of you might not like the flavour of mint. You can avoid it and
add some more coriander or other greens like spinach.
